What’s the difference between winter made to measure suits and summer made to measure suits?

Well the first answer is that there is a difference between the two.

The Fabric

For your summer made to measure suit, you may wish to select a lighter fabric such as an 8 to 10 ounce fabric.

For your winter suit, you would choose a heavier weight suiting fabric such as a 12 oz.

Furthermore, for a summer suit, you may wish to select a mohair fabric.  We have written a separate blog on mohair suits here.

The Lining

During the summer time, more customers are becoming aware of the option to have a half lined suit jacket.  We have written a dedicated blog on half-lined suits here.

However, for winter, you’ll want you suit jacket to be fully lined.
